I had a fair experience at Hotel Petka. While the location was excellent, right by the ferry terminal and with easy access to public transport, the dining experience left a lot to be desired. The rooms were generally clean, and I appreciated the views from the balcony, but the furnishings felt a bit outdated and some amenities could be improved.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and spacious, and I loved the balcony view over the harbor. However, the bathroom needed updating, and there were basic toiletries provided, so I had to bring my own.
Service
6.0
The reception staff were friendly and responsive to my requests. Though there were some staffing issues during busy times, they did their best to accommodate guests.
Location

This hotel is conveniently located across from the ferry terminal, and there’s a bus stop right outside that made it easy to get to Dubrovnik's old town.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast offered had a good variety, but I found the dinner buffet to be quite chaotic and lacking in quality. I would probably choose to dine out at nearby restaurants in the future.
Facilities
6.0
Although the hotel had some nice features, like cool air conditioning and a good breakfast option, I found the overall facilities to be a bit tired and in need of modern touches.

6.2/10

My stay at Hotel Petka was a mix of great moments and a few drawbacks. The location is super convenient, right across from the ferry terminal, which made getting around a breeze. The views from my sea-facing balcony were stunning, plus the staff was mostly friendly and helpful. However, I did notice that the hotel could use some modernization, especially in the dining options and room amenities.

Rooms

I was in a sea-facing room with a lovely balcony. While it was clean and had comfortable beds, it did feel a bit dated. I just wish there was a small table and chairs on the balcony to enjoy the views better.
Service
8.0
The staff overall were pleasant and responsive, especially Frano and Niksa at the reception. However, some dining staff could've been friendlier, as I felt a bit of a cold vibe from a few.

Being right across from the ferry terminal is unbeatable and super convenient for exploring. Plus, there's a bus stop just outside, so getting to the old town was easy peasy.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast had plenty of variety, but I found the dinner options somewhat limited and not the best quality. The desserts were quite basic.
Facilities

The hotel's facilities met my expectations for a three-star place, but it definitely feels like it needs upgrades in some areas, like the bathrooms and room furnishings.

My stay at Hotel Petka was enjoyable overall, thanks to its great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was decent, although I would recommend opting for menu items over the dinner buffet. The room was clean and spacious, but I did find some aspects, like the air conditioning, to be lacking during my visit.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and offered an awesome view of the harbor, which was a highlight of my stay. The bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant night's sleep, though the TV was a bit small for my liking.
Service

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping with luggage before check-in and after check-out. They were eager to assist, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location is superb, being right across the ferry terminal and close to the bus stop that leads to Old Town. It really made getting around Dubrovnik convenient.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was solid with a variety of options, but I found the coffee and orange juice to be below average. I would suggest avoiding the dinner buffet in favor of ordering from the menu.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had adequate facilities, although the decor felt somewhat dated. I appreciated having lifts available, but the air conditioning in my initial room wasn’t functioning properly, which was uncomfortable in the summer heat.

I found Hotel Petka to be affordably located right across from the ferry terminal, making it easy to catch my transport. However, the rooms felt a bit dated and lacked some basic upkeep, especially in the bathrooms. The staff at reception were generally polite but could use more warmth, particularly in the breakfast area where they seemed disinterested. Overall, it was a balanced experience but with room for improvements.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and spacious, although a bit empty. I appreciated the nice sea view from the balcony, which added to my stay. However, the air conditioning was a struggle and could definitely use some updates.
Service
5.0
While the reception staff were helpful and professional, my experience in the breakfast room wasn't great. The staff seemed uninterested in engaging with guests, which left a poor impression.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is fantastic if you're catching a ferry, as it's right across from the port. Plus, there are easy bus connections to the old town just outside the hotel, making transport very convenient.
Dining
6.0
I found the breakfast options varied, though I did notice some items ran out towards the end of service. The atmosphere in the dining area was okay, but the staff could clearly improve in their attentiveness.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel provides basic facilities, and while it has a solid structure and potential, it definitely feels like it needs a facelift. There was also only one elevator working during my stay, which was inconvenient.

My stay at Hotel Petka was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, right across from the ferry station, making it easy to get around. However, the room I stayed in had a few issues, particularly with the air conditioning. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, some of the dining options left much to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
My room offered a scenic view of the harbor, yet it had an unpleasant smell that lingered throughout my stay. The overall cleaniness was satisfactory, but it would have been nice to have better amenities like a hair dryer.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and always willing to help, particularly when it came to arranging early breakfasts and addressing my room concerns promptly. I felt valued during my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was ideal for public transport, with a bus stop right across the road, allowing easy access to the old town and other attractions. The proximity to the ferry terminal was a major plus.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast served was basic but decent. However, I found the dinner buffet options quite lacking, leading me to prefer ordering from the menu instead.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel had some essential facilities and maintained a clean environment, it could benefit from a bit of modernization. There were two lifts, which was convenient, but more amenities would enhance the stay.
